All for you

by NineteenMinutes   May 1, 2009

You asked me to be simpler,
so i stopped thinking,
you asked me to be looser,
so i started drinking,
you asked me to be stronger,
so i picked a fight,
you asked me to adore you,
so you were always right,
and when you said you preferred blonde's,
i dyed my hair,
and when we became non-exclusive,
i pretended not to care,
when you told me i wasn't good enough,
i laughed away the tears,
and when you would make me feel small,
i swallowed all my fears,
but I'm stronger now,
a quality you adore,
and after all I've done for you,
i can't change no more,
I'm sorry I'm not perfect,
but I'm me,
and you've taught me a lesson,
and now I'll change for nobody.
