I don't love you

by NineteenMinutes   May 1, 2009

You're pleading with me to love you,
but i can't,
i smile as your tears fall,
it's true i have no heart,
I'm sorry did you expect different,
do you want me to cry?
Would this seem less drastic,
if i were the guy?
should i put on my apron?
act more thoroughbred,
then you can teach me tricks,
roll over, beg, play dead,
I'm sorry i don't love you,
but i never will,
you can cry all the tears you want,
i wont love you still,
you can scream forever,
but we have to part,
you're pleading with me to love you,
and I'm sorry but i can't.
