He Is

by SweetGrief   May 4, 2009

He was everything I wanted to be
He had everything that I wanted to see
He loved more than love can be
but a hurricane striked, and he disappointed me

He covered himself with gloominess to evade actuality
He harmed others in order to save humanity
He kept his eyes opened to halt dreaming
and as he tries to forget, he starts seeking

He repents virtues that he has done
he regrets everything he told his son
and now he's walking beneath the sun
to acquire his life again

He's a mistaken and he's a forgiven
He's the lord of loathing but he keeps loving
and he weeps, "what have I done"
"I had it all and observed it runs"

He tries to fix it all by committing the same blunder
He tries to take it back by sitting in the same corner
he says leave me alone I'm getting stronger
when everything he does cause him to be tender

One day he started to see
And he realized everything he mean to me
and now he is struggling to be
and he endeavors to sit the past free

Really nice poem, its nice reading through and sounds like a story. I think the followig need changes. But a hurrican stroked should be but a hurrican striked.. And he covered his self should be he covered himself. Generally brilliant write, keep up.

Well I think it must have been hard for you to pen this down and share it with the readers. But no doubt that it is good to let things out. Though the poem portray a gloomy side of the protagonist, but yyou hva e structured this poem well.Another amazing write from you. Keep it up
