Whose reflection is in the mirror
Looking back at me?
Her eyes full of hurt and sadness
Cry so constantly
Her eyes look like distant memories
That have been washed away
The numbing glaze the she looks through
Always seems to stay
She reminds herself that she’s not loved
As her eyes start stinging with tears
Her mind racing with painful memories
That has happened throughout her years
She feels lost and worthless
As her knife glides though her skin
She couldn’t fight her war alone
Her battle she could not win
The lines grow thicker and thicker
As she feels that comforting pain
Crying for what would never be
Knowing it would never be the same
So who is that girl in the mirror
Looking back at me?
