Daddy I Love You.

by Sara   May 5, 2009

The one person who's suppose to keep you safe,
Is now no longing living.
Father come back to me.

The one person to help you through it all
Has been taking from my hold.
Daddy where'd you go?

The one person to keep you smiling,
Is never going to see the day.
Father please make me laugh.

Memories have started to fade,
And old tears are starting up again.
I should have done more, to have more of him with me.

The words I said should have been better,
But Daddy I Love You.

Not a day goes by without a thought of him.
Not a day goes by without sight of his favorite things,
Because he's apart of me.

My daddy was a great man,
His name will forever be remembered.
His jokes will always create a smile.

And his daughter will keep holding on.
For I know his true wish,
Keep it together.

This is for my father.
