Quack

by Corinne   May 5, 2009

A Mallard
Waddled
Out of the pond
Quacking as he went

Where is my mate?
He seemed to say

Not finding her
On the grassy bank
He went back in the water
As my eyes followed

    Corinne,
I do believe you could write something amazing about any subject you are given. I am so glad you were so imspired by your trip to the Botanical Gardens. It's almost as though I have gone on the trip with you as you have so craftfully created in your ongoing series of events during your trip. Wonderful Job.

    Take Care,
    Kay

Love to watch ducks and geese. Lots of them where I live. This was such a refreshing poem. Well done.
