A Life Just Out Of Reach

by Littlewriter-a   May 5, 2009

Thoughts of commotion

A headache of pain,

Moments without a breath,

A life with no gain.

Surrendered again,

Not a moment to soon,

Heaven surrounds, and waits just on through,

Waves on the beach,

Hit against a life that fell out of reach.

Rocks on a shore, dead,

Like the breath no more.

The moon in the sky,

Where a soul will now fly.

This was a metaphoric poem, filled with emotion masterfully disguised and explained. This was a great read and write. It got a little shaky near the end though the rythym and rhyme at the beginngin was a masterpiece. Well Done. 5/5
