Rag Dolls Soul

by Sheep   May 6, 2009

A stitch for a joint
With buttons for eyes
She's tattered and meek
With batting filled thighs

She's brought to high tea
And dressed up for school
But something is missing
In playmates new rule

Surely she's happy
Stitched smile unchanged
She's portrayed as just perfect
No markings or fangs

But what's in the cloth
That makes up her skin?
What's in the shoes
She's forgotten to pin?

The life of a rag doll
Has lost its true charm
When without a soul
You're easy to harm
