Jellyfishes

by mossgirl19   May 7, 2009

Jellyfishes on the shore,
they're washed away by heavy waves.
Out of the sea they find themselves
lonely in the night.
Sometimes when people would say,
"What lovely creatures on land!"
Almost queer enough for them
they wanted to touch them or take them away.
Never thought of how the jellyfishes feel
sun-dried and away from home.

(They're not dead yet)

First thing that came to mind when I saw the title was Sponge Bob, haha, but anyhow, nevermind what I said. The poem is awesome, a bit on the sad side but still awesome. Good job here.
