Checkered flannel, black and white
The way you sat, your back to me
Easy posture, leaning right

The way your smile lit your face
Elegance at any length
You stole me in that first embrace
I've lost all my sense of strength

You're all I hear and all I see
The only love I haven't fought
You're winning every part of me
From lightest dream to deepest thought

You have my heart, entirely
I'd give up anything for you
I promise you, I'll never leave
I love falling in love with you
