Silence Speaks

by Aubrey   May 8, 2009

No longer am I silent
Not able to speak at all
I voice my opinion loudly
Even if I fall

He made this choice in me
Gave me freedom to my soul
Made me see the beauty
In my God-given role
He made the laughter wake up
And rejoice for all to hear
To speak above the rest
And have completely no fear

He gave me a choice
Be locked up or be free
To drop the opinions
and just be me.
To not care about people
or the actions they take
Just do what I want to do
and never be fake
The unforgiven silence
that used to be me
Is now speaking loudly
for all people to see

All because of Tyler
I open my eyes brand new
See a different world in front of me
Do you see it too?
My silence is speaking
Even if it shakes
I will be myself the way I am
No matter what it takes.
