We really need to take care of the earth and nature. Nuture them and leave them as beautiful as they were before we arrived. Well done.

This poem is amazing. I like the idea that the poem is subtlely split into 2 parts. It is quite disturbing how man made waste can lead to destruction of our nature. But you have penned it well here. Excellent Job

Because of mankind stubborness and greed for the mighty buck, this earth that was entrusted to us by our maker is slowly dieing.
Reading this gives me the creeps as to what to come if we don't shape up and, try to do our part in it's preservation.
You have done a marvelous job in writing this piece and deserve a pat on your back for bringing it to the world's attention.

Every time I read a new poem on this site I am amazed at the variety, imagery, sincerity and knowledge of our members.
This poem of yours Kay has all the above and it drives home to us the importance of us the individual. That by just putting those few items in the recycle bin or making the effort to support one of the many organisation and lobbying brigades to Save Our Planet we show we care, I know it is sad that our Governments don't take heed of our pleas for reform and it brings home that money is still the Master of our Universe sad but true.
