A lovely disaster

by theory of the loser   May 8, 2009

A definition of catastrophe,
A heartbroken symphony,
A dying memory of what once was,
A heart-wrenching, a cry of a dove.

Such a beautiful face with vivid blue eyes,
so hurt and confused, falling apart inside.

I bet if I hadn't told you, you'd never even know,
how even though she tough she's still human.
She doesn't have a bullet proof vest on all the time you know.

There is something about that icy cold stare,
something that wants to freeze you when you stare.
So closed off, nothings the matter,
everything here, right where you left her.

There's more to the picture,
more to tell,
but at the end of this heartbroken symphony,
seems just handwritten hell.

I think I get it, seeing how it's all about you,
I think I get it, much more than I aught to.
I think I get it, mostly because I'm completely, undeniably,

In love with you.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm Kai the brother, notice that I use you a lot as well as she? It's cause I wanted to make it seem as if I was talking in third person, hence the you. Goes out to LorLei, the love of my life.

This is a good poem...however i am going to have to comment that the poems title: disaster is spelt incorrectly, and gives impressions that the poem wont be as good it was! sorry
    I especially like the lines:
"Such a beautiful face with vivid blue eyes,
so hurt and confused, falling apart inside."
    - theres a lot of description in this bit, can picture it in my head as i read! x
