Don't Worry (I'm Okay to Drive)

by No Need For A Name   May 9, 2009

Having a good time tonight
Having a great time, the best time
It would be a shame to end it now
But at least then I'll unwind
On the drive back to my home
Unaware that I won't survive

Key me
Pleading
There's no time for breathing
Give it
Live it
Or be like me and miss it

Don't worry, don't worry
I'm okay to drive
Don't worry, don't worry
I'm okay to die
Don't worry, don't worry
It's to good a night
Don't worry, don't worry
I'm to good a guy

Don't you dare give me that look
I'll walk it, that straight line
Just to prove I'm not shaking
The proof that I must hide
Though I'm over, not out
Believe me, I do this
Just give me the keys and don't call
I'll make it home, believe this

Bottle me
Throttle me
It's all just so damn startling
Bury me
Barely breathe
Under this metallic sea

Don't worry, don't worry
I'm okay to drive
Don't worry, don't worry
I'm okay to die
Don't worry, don't worry
It's to good a night
Don't worry, don't worry
I'm to good a guy

Cause I know I'm invincible
I know I have no limits
I know what I can handle
And it all sounds unbelievable
That with a slow reacting twitch
I will burn out like a candle

Bottle me
Throttle me
It's all just so damn startling
Don't worry, don't worry
I'm okay to drive
Don't worry, don't worry
I'm okay to die
Don't worry, don't worry
It's to good a night
Don't worry, don't worry
I'm to good a guy
Don't worry
Don't worry
Don't worry
I'm to good a guy

This one is a little better than the first one. It's good, not great. I would like to see some more details instead of the chorus repeating. I guess it leaves us off with some mystery but I don't like mystery. I like it when it gets straight to the point. The flow is a lot better. The rhymes are still a little forced. But when I sing it, it sounds a little off still. I think you should explore some vocab.

This may not be one of the strongest that I've read from you today. It seemed weaker in the repeats, and not as ballenced ans some of the other one's that you've written so far.
