Another semester passed, another typical day
Where I learn a lesson, and look the other way.
I tried to forget you and finally move on
Because now my hopes are all vanquished and gone.
Remember those four steps I set out to do?
Did you know all of them involved me and you?
Yup, I was stupid to think I stood a chance
When you never even bothered to give me a second glance.
I saw a picture of your girlfriend a few months back.
I guess she has all the qualities that I obviously lack.
I never hated blondes as much as I do now;
I'm thinking of evil plans I wanna do to that cow.
I shouldn't be like this, envy is a sin,
But I stop short of nothing when I wanna win.
However, this is one battle that I must accept to lose,
And realize love doesn't come to whomever we choose.
So have a nice life and date whoever you please
While I wait for this heartbreak to begin to cease.
I'll erase all my plans that were stored in my mind.
Mr. Right is somewhere out there waiting for me to find.
This is where it ends, this is the last day;
No reason to hope, but I'll continue to pray.
