Final frontier

by kevin Boundy AKA the ghost   May 10, 2009

My senses don't make sense to me
And yet nothing else could be more clear
I see you before me only when my eyes rest
Oh how I wish you were here

I wake up as you slowly fade away
And I conjure a single tear
I blink a thousand times more
Just praying that you'll appear

My dashboard confessional
Is making it hard for me to steer
Begging my creator above
For the one thing that I hold dear

I need you in my life
Life follows when you draw near
Without your endless beauty,
Eden becomes the final frontier

Nice work! I liked the free flowing nature of this poem. Also very romantic write! Well done!

This was a very emotional poem and i see you did it well. The flow along with the rhyme was good. The imagery you give in this poem was good as well. Good job.
