Looking Glass

by Caetlin Miakoda Collison   May 13, 2009

I peer into the looking glass
and see not what i thought
would be reflected

The darkness of sorrow is no longer there
but for a hint behind the eyes
A memory and nothing more

Where once a stone heart sood still
A new one has begun to beat
to the rhythm of life again

When I look again into the seeig glass
I know what I will see
just a reflection of who I am
And who I will be.
