Colors of the world

by jeanie   May 15, 2009

I sit upon a golden sand
Cobalt sea to my face
At my back, emerald land
I stare across waves of grace
To the crimson dawn
Indigo, it makes the wave
Soon it will be gone
It rises up from its grave
Burning brightly our orange flame
As it rises we see all,
Who it is we blame
Far away the voices call
Soon to be my home
Lilac smell fills the air
The sea, it starts to foam
