Ode To My Mother

by Synh   May 15, 2009

You fill our hearts with rays of light

You're always there, day or night

If lightening struck, you calmed our fears

You kissed our boo-boos and whiped away the tears

If we acted spoiled and or maybe a little caddy

You always warned, "Don't make me tell your Daddy"

When presented with any ugly kiddie pictures we drew

You smiled and said "I love them too"

To us, you gave the precious gift of life

To our Father, you've been a wonderful wife

Today, we honor you for your tender loving care

And thank you for always being there

We thank God for sending us you, a wonderful mother

We love you so much and would never ask for another

A beautiful ode to your mom. She definitely seems like a beautiful soul. loving and caring. I have no doubt that she'll love this gem you wrote her.
