Sunshine on my head, But I cannot rise up; I lay in this hospital bed, Refusing redemption and worship. Moonlight on my face, Another day and night; Another man immobilized, Put away, far from your sight. Artificial light in my brain, Nothing left to rise above this; Crippled for life, Humbled and humiliated, rejected and dismissed.
