Do you see that shooting star?
Falling just for you?
It holds decades of magic,
Waiting to be discovered.

Wow great write. I'm now inspired to try a Tanka.. my favor line for sure was 'It holds decades of magic,' - this line held so much originality for me personally, and I really liked it, it was something I havent heard before and stuck out above all the other lines.

    Very well done!
    5/5.

Short and simple. I like how you phrase , decades of magic waiting to be discovered. For some, a shooting star has this magical powers to make your wish come true.It is that faith we had in the shooting star that makes our wish comes true.No doubt this is an Excellent write.Keep it up

    MaryAnne,

I loved the title, a real eye catcher and I also love to think of it that way: a star falling just for the one who sees it fall!

    *hugs*
