Not As Fragile

by Silent Screams   May 17, 2009

How on Earth
Am I like this now?
We were just rolling, standard,
And I strained my thigh muscle, how?

Doctor's orders,
On crutches for two weeks.
My instructor's going to throw a fit,
But no sports isn't to weep.

My biggest concern, for school
Is getting around for class.
I don't want to fall and break my leg,
Or shatter it like glass.

And poor Chris B,
So concerned he is for me.
He thinks I shouldnt' strain myself,
But I'm not as fragile as I seem.

I loved this. The use of rhetorical questions is amazing. I love how clearly you express your feelings. Very nice work. Shanik
