Mirror Mirror

by Stephanie Michelle   May 19, 2009

Mirror, Mirror, Can't you see?
The girl you show, she isn't me
Her hair is tangled, eyes are bare
Her expression vacant, she doesn't care

Mirror, Mirror, You're surely wrong
No smile set, it's been so long
Eyes are blackened, hair is dyed
Faint smudges fall, where tears were cried

Mirror, Mirror, Looking sad
A reflective lie, that's all she had
This life is wrong, this girl too young
Her pain is hard, her time is done

Mirror, Mirror, Looky here
These lines are running crimson tears
And onyx heart, her only friend
It's telling her, "this is the end"

Mirror, Mirror, Look who's won
What's in her hand? Is that a gun?
No more shaking, she is through
No more thoughts, she's shooting you

Mirror, Mirror, Please don't fall!
Your shattered pieces, what's left?? That's all!
No more gleam, they're tainted red..
Mirror, Mirror, The girl is Dead!
