The Emptiness

by PHOEBIX   May 19, 2009

I am carved out and hollow
Everything has been taken
A shell, I walk as the undead
No direction, I wander

Emptiness has claimed me
There is nothing left
I am tired yet awake
I can not feel my body

There is no emotion here
No joy, no sorrow
No love, no hate
Nothing but nothingness

Will this end
Is there a finality
How long must I travel
In this nowhere

A really sad write. You totally described the title. I categorically loved the way you parted and ended " carved out and hollow and how long must i travel in this nowhere " really spells desperation and how much you wish to come out of that situation. Brilliant.
