The Biggest China Doll

by Dacey Flame   May 20, 2009

She holds a miniture glass bottle
Deep inside, like secret treasure
Half full of chalky perfection
Hundreds upon hundreds of milligrams
Always ready to drop the flag
Ready, set, go die!
They would put me in the best place
The best place I've ever been
An abysmal paradise
With foggy warmth
And an embodying comfort
I would be softly lulled to sleep
Upon my shag red bathroom rug
With the exact milligrams of each
Enscribed on my left wrist top
Maybe I would lock the door
Or I would forget
It would only take ten minutes
And one night
Hours before I'd be found
And I would never wake again
Face plastered with a smile.
