Some days I feel as if the world will fall
Making my walk creep to a crawl
Shove me to the ground in a heap
And just put me to my final sleep.
Every time I feel this way
I think back through my day
It was filled with tears and fake smiles
For what I want to find takes me a while.
There stands my perfect man
A smile stretching to it's fullest span
Muscle as solid as a rock
To make him fall will take more than just a knock.
Brown eyes deep and caring
Heart open for sharing
Face with no flaw
Stand there with your lines from your chin to your jaw.
Before me you stand
Imperfect and grand
It's what keeps me going
and avoid that terrible slowing.
To the world you may not be perfect
But to my steady loving eyes you have not a stain to detect
I'm going to keep you near
For losing you is now my greatest fear.
