What She Decides

If you say that she is beautiful, she will turn away,
If you say she looks great, she will not believe what you say,
If you comment on her smile, how it brightens your day,
Still she will never believe those wonderful words you say.

She will think you are lying, and wait for you to leave.
All those words you said, do you really think she would believe?
How could you think that, what is the reason to lie?
How can you love her, when she wants to die?

She does not want you, to waste your time,
She does not feel like she will be worth the climb,
She feels alone, even when you are near.
But still through it all, she does not want you to care.

She doesn't know why, but she will never believe,
How can she be pretty, with those cuts under her sleeve?
She knows it is stupid, to feel that way.
But she will never believe any of the words you say.

On the outside, she looks happy; she will smile instead of cry.
But on the inside, she wishes to die,
She never lets them know, how she feels inside,
She never lets them know, how much she has to hide.

She does not love herself, so how can she love you?
If you think she is beautiful, you dont have a clue.
She doesn't believe it, when you say she looks great,
She doesn't know why, but it is herself she hates.

She doesn't think she is beautiful, and her hair is always a mess,
But that does not make you, love her any less.
She does not understand, there is no point to try,
When deep inside, she wants to cry.

She will continue to cut, and she will continue to hide,
No one will know if she is planning suicide.
No one will know how she is feeling inside,
And no one will know, what she finally decides
