I think about you from time to time

We were both so young then
So naive, so stupid, so damned dumb
Never thought of anything happening
Only thought of all the fun

The things we took for granted
The feelings we said could never end
So much time we wasted over and again
You weren't just my boy, but my best friend

We had our futures planned out
Where we'd be in years to come
How many kids we'd have
And our nights of endless fun

I wish I could go back to those days
Where we were so simple minded
Where we could look at each other all night long
Where out love was so binded

I wish things worked out differently
So we could of been together still
If I had of known where I'd be now
I would of tried with all my will
