Storm in the bear

by Shalkan   May 23, 2009

Walking along some dusty tightrope
Amidst millions of stars in a charcoal sky
One lone bear arises from the smoke
Out of the darkness there's a storm drawing nigh

Each footstep he makes is a watery portal
A tigers eye window to Neverland
In my heart the bear is immortal
Thunder of his paw drew the lines on your hand

Shape of his brow and fiery sword
Chart the land on which we live
Ivory teeth, remnants of arctic lords
The bear walks on with feet unhinged

When the bear makes his way to the end of the sky
The tightrope is severed and constructed again
Where the ocean and horizon kiss the night
The journey of the bear will never end
