When Will It End?

by Timothy r   May 24, 2009

It comes to be an awful shock
always being the last to know
snickering at the news, that
should have been said months ago

To feel like a patsy, comes quite easily
especially when it hits from afar
secrets and lies being played
just to protect who you are

Sitting in a locked cage
everything so nice and clean
it`s deja vu all over again
painted a deep hunter green

Tired of being alone in a crowded room
screaming at top volume for it to end
everyone moving in slow motion
pretending to be true friends

Alas, the medication has taken its course
slowly drifting away, sleep is near
allowing my mind to dream
that the end is finally here.

Good to see you are still writing. I doubt you remember me because I have changed my name so many times, but like I said good to see you still writing :)

I've lost touch with my favorites...Lost touch with this site it seems. I'm here..reading your words...still in amazement...you were always great but maybe I didn't appreciate it time a thousand as I am today. Can I get some of that medication please? lol

No joking...nice write Mr. Timothy...seems even when you're surrounded you can feel the most alone you've ever felt. I enjoyed reading and will go on to read more! :)

I enjoyed the read very much, for me there was an overwhelming feeling of despair , Often we are alone even though there are people around, the worst kind of lonlieness. excellent job, thought provoking!
