Once upon a time in a country full of death
Then came a disease more powerful than the church
It spread around the world
killing millions as it passed through
Even though many tried to cure it
They all really failed
Because Yersinia pestis was to strong for them
Many went to the church
and begged for a cure
they begged all day and all night
and prayed till they died
but the cure never came
many blamed god
and why not
god was supposed to be their Saviour
but did he even try
that is what everyone wondered
why did my daughter die she didnt do anything bad
why did my husband die he was always good
why asked everyone but the church couldn't deliver the answer
and that was when science saved them
