Life in Fiction

by Hear You Me   May 26, 2009

See the world through your wide innocent eyes,
brown and large they do not seem the same size,
as all other eyes that are shut so tight,
i would say that this is wrong, but you seem alright...

when will you wake up, wake up,
you've got your eyes wide open,
wake up, wake up,
you must realise they're closed,

when i say 'grow up',
you tell me to chill out,
when i say 'slow it down',
you say you've got no time,
when will you see that,
you're full of contradictions,
and coming so close,
to living life in fiction,

you live in your own world, so you don't see it,
you've lived here for so long and don't perceive it,
does this make you scared, do you repress it?
cos now you won't see good, see bad has stressed it,

so will you hold on, hold on,
you've got your eyes bright open,
hold on, hold on,
you must realised they're closed...

so grow up now my dear, before it's too late,
so many colours here trust me you can't wait,
so hurry up my child and take your own fate,
so many colours here trust me you can't wait.
