This is a two voice poem, it is supposed to express two point's of view, each "column" (this site doesn't have microsoft office formatting) is it's own individual poem that would make sense on it's own, but together they hold a greater message, the left column is supposed to be from Walt Whitman's point of view, and the right column is mine, this was for a school assignment so some of the lines are weird and it doesn't completely follow the points of view but it fit the format my teacher wanted, maybe i will come with a revised version in the future.
