The Tunnel's End

by Indian Comma Bean   May 29, 2009

Distort this mentality,
Wash out reality,
To Hell with practicality,
This mind's a fatality.

Intellectual blood flows,
The essence of wisdom choking
The soil that surrounds the rose,
Placid petals weep; memories evoking.

Unaware,
Distressed eyes wander, pleading-
Hoping.

Fear lays a veil upon emotion,
Gloom crawling like a fiend, weaving
Through the bars of devotion,
Sebaceous hair dangling; thoughts deceiving.

Disrupt this neutrality,
Wipe out normality,
To Hell with punctuality,
This hope is my vitality.
