Distractions

by Poet on the Piano   May 29, 2009

Gnawing at my mind forever,
Never recoiling from view,
Wanting only satisfaction,
By haunting me morning and night.
Life will never live without them,
For they are the main annoyance,
That doesn't shrink back or cower,
But clings to our thoughts all the time.

    MaryAnne,

I know so well how this feels! My mind is always busy too and at night I have sooo much trouble falling asleep because of all the ideas that pop up in my head!

I really like how you have worded this, I feel we are kindred spirits:)

    *hugs*
