Love is the person you think of before turning off the light.
It's the face that appears in your sweet dreams at night,
It holds you trapped between two states of mind
Pondering constantly...do I, don't I?

Love is the person you wish to dance into the night.
It stretches from coast to coast, dodging the waves of life,
Swaying against the wind of time and cutting its way into our hearts.
Painting the day black but blinding us at night.

Love is when you can feel that person touch your shoulder,
But then you turn around only to find no-one standing there.
They are the person that finds you when you are lost,
The person you turn to in your time of need,
Someone that reminds you of what you may have forgot.

Love is when you cannot explain, however hard you try.
Why you find them to be the person that they are.
It becomes rooted deep inside and stays their all our lives.
We can't avoid it, for it gazes constantly into our eyes.

For someone who is in love true, they cannot pretend.
That once it has begun, there is no end.
