Sorrow's Loving Call

by xoxShorteexox   May 29, 2009

I use to stroll along the Everglades,
hoping to forget my blades.

I use to wish you'd appear,
and take me with you, dear.

The poetry calls your name,
but to you, this is just a game.

I'm crying out to you at night,
do you feel my fright?

There's another girl in my place,
with a very different face.

I hope my face haunts your bed,
because this is the life you led.

I've asked for a loving touch,
but I'm standing with no crouch.

So, I've decided to fly away to a new day,
in this dreadful month of May.
