So many questions,
no understanding why
broken for real
hearts though, will heal

praying to God
reach up to the sky
hope for a miracle
teach us to survive

give us understanding
show us why
tears hit the ground
the world feels upside down

tears drop
time at a stop
looking around
no answers are found

the Lord i hear call
i'm here to catch your fall
take my word,
i'll show you the way

i'll be here to help
while you're losing your way
i will be the light
when your life seems
all but bright

i'll hold you up,
i will help you fight
just believe in me,
trust my ways

i promise you there
will be better days
i am the truth
you should not hide

i'll catch every tear
the times you cry
i will be here to talk
no matter time of day

just promise me
you will not stray

i have a purpose
my greater plan,
time will tell
let your hope never fail

believe in me, don't ever stray
i'll be there when your color turns to gray
