Cancer hurts~everyone

As tears run down my face,
I wonder how this could happen
to you, to us.

The news tore my world apart.
I couldn't speak, I couldn't
trust my voice, because
the shock was too much.

You told me not to worry.
How can I not!?
Life sucks,
mostly mine.

Why did this have to happen to
you?
Why does it have to be this way?
I almost wish it were me instead
of you.

I wish I could make it go away.
But I can't, I'm only a friend, and
till the end I will stay.

    Awww... my uncle died of cancer. this poem is so sad but it's so moving. im sorry if it really happened. life a b*t*h to those who really dont deserve it. hope it gets easier. love the poem. 5/5.

    You did a really great job with this poem and the emotion was good and I really liked it and I think you did a great job with it. The context was also trust and so once gain you did a good job.
