Hannah

Your funeral was held
around a quarter past three.
Tears shed my eyes,
And no longer could I see.
The room was silent,
when your family walked in,
I asked God,
How could someone commit such a sin?
There was no reply,
How could someone like you die?
They found you on a Tuesday
In a garbage bin.
Bound, broken and cut,
We would never win.
I closed my eyes,
and breathed you in.
For when you were murdered,
Two lives were taken.
You carried a bud,
on the family tree.
5 months along,
why didn't anyone see?
I watched them carry your casket,
and tears poured from my eyes,
I silently stood alone
and stared up at the blue skies.
It was then I saw your smiling face,
staring down at me,
and I knew you found your place,
for heaven it shall be.
I hugged your mother,
in her silent treason,
she pulled back and she told me,
Rita, everything happens for a reason.

poor girl, same as my other comment, I feel so bad that anyone would have to go through something as tragic as that, but you wrote about it so beautifully. i know that i write to help releave feelings and i hope that you will continue to express yourself through you writing instead of holding it up inside.. Peace out

Hey that was a very sad but well written poem. I am terribly sorry that you had to go through such pain. I know exactly how you feel for a dear friend of mine had the same fate. I would like to wish you full emotional recovery soon. Take care always.
    Deepest sympathy,
    Kristina
