Red, blue, orange - definatly great colors that blend together to make a sunset, however.. my issue with this is your last line when you say its October, the color blue in no way is associated with October, as far as I can imagine, so maybe you should replace blue with a color that would make a beautiful sunset combined with red and orange and yet still make sense with the October scene.
