Run Daylight, Hide! Nature Calls Tonight

by Indian Comma Bean   Jun 4, 2009

Fleeting thoughts dance,
Under crimson blankets,
The clouds, illuminated,
Show their face upon the sand.

Rolling in ambiance,
Waves massage the shoreline,
Distant calls echo, distinct,
Singing to the floral mother.

Serenity basks in glory,
Alone in the calming breeze,
Time elapses, unnoticed,
Nature plays the harmony.

Whispered melodies rise,
Reflecting innocence in tone,
Driftwood floating, alone,
Yet freedom saturates its bark.

    "Fleeting thoughts dance,

What a clear and descriptive image you have painted in my mind! Your wording is so unique and gives the reader a vivid scene of the beauty that you are talking about. The way you wrote this took my breath away and makes me long to visit such a dream land.

    "Rolling in ambiance,
    Waves massage the shoreline,
    Distant calls echo, distinct,
    Singing to the floral mother."

I love how you say the waves massage, what imagery you have created, so original and different in a good way! You have much talent and I will not be surprised to see you famous one day, good luck!

    "Serenity basks in glory,
    Alone in the calming breeze,
    Time elapses, unnoticed,
    Nature plays the harmony."

"basks" is such a perfect word to use here.

I also like how you mention time, giving the reader so much to think about, its incredible!

    "Whispered melodies rise,
    Reflecting innocence in tone,
    Driftwood floating, alone,
    Yet freedom saturates its bark."

Wow, this should totally win the weekly contest! You have took my breath away and taken me to another world. You will go far with this talent of yours, nice work!

5/5 from me, take care and God Bless!
