The end

by theory of the loser   Jun 5, 2009

The end,
a statement that isn't true,
trust me, storybooks are usually the first clue,
always a sequel, another event,
always because destiny changed it's intent,

once you walk away you'll realize it too,
how this isn't about me,
it's not about you,

people out there say good-bye all the time,
it's good-bye as in, the end,
and the end isn't true,
not real, trust me read storybooks they're the first clue,

a storybook always ends with, the end,
yet the next second the prince once again defends,
they make it happy, yet it's over,
not real either, there's usually another lover,

stories aren't real,
the symphony doesn't last and, the end, never happens,
yet storybooks bring smiles to sad faces,
and the heart always races...

Where is the, the end, in that..?
