Have You Ever Noticed?

by iFallToPieces   Jun 6, 2009

Have you ever noticed, that no matter what you do,
There always seems to be someone that will continue to hurt you.
No matter what you do, there is always someone,
That just doesn't care, and wants to have all the fun.

Have you ever noticed, that when you are upset or down,
Even your best friend, doesn't notice you are around,
That every once in awhile, when you need a friend,
The one that said they would be there, bailed out before the end.

Have you ever noticed, that no matter how hard you try,
There always seems to be a friend that will continue to lie,
Even if they promised, that they would help you out,
They keep what they think inside, leaving you in doubt.

Have you ever noticed, that when you are having the worst day,
No one seems to ask, if you are okay,
And sometimes when you need them, they just turn away,
Not really caring, about what you have to say.

Have you ever noticed, theres always that one person, that you think you need,
But what would actually happen, if they were to leave?
Would you finally find someone that treats you the best?
Or would they just turn out like all the rest?

Have you ever noticed that no matter how hard she tries,
She always seems to fall, and believe their stupid lies,
And no matter what she does, she just cant turn away,
Even if they never listen, to a single word she says.

One day they will find out, that she wanted it to end,
And that a broken heart, was something she couldn't mend,
No matter how hard she tried, she could not continue to pretend,
And finally they would be the ones to loose a friend.

Woah, and i mean WOAH! This is like...exactly how i feel. Its hard losing friends, and not having them there for you, especially if youre there for them. Youve done an excellent job though, very sad, but so true. Well done. 5/5

What a sad but true poem. You seem to question a lot in your poem which isn't bad but I was just stating. Your emotion in the poem was really good and I really enjoyed how you questioned one thing to the next. The flow of the poem was good but it seemed like in some places you forced the rhyme. The rhyming though was good. But all in all you did a good job.
