My December [Take Me Back]

by BlueEyedMystery   Jun 8, 2009

Taste the heat,
fire on my tongue.
Blazing.
Burning.
Dying in my lungs.
End the hell
of smiles
and sand.
I can't relive this.
[Oh, yes you can.]
December's dead.
It floated away
on snow-filled clouds
and Santa's sleigh.
Oh, please,
oh, please,
just take me back.
Numb my heart,
forever black.

I want to..

fall into winter,
let summer drown.
I'm the Ice Queen.
Where's my crown?
December, December,
forever mine.
Take me back
and let me shine.

I loved the flow, and the emotion i feel sat in the right place though at times i felt a little confused. You said "Numb my heart forever black" and then ended it with "Take me back and let me shine" not really a big deal but thats the only time i felt the emotions were mixed up, which theres nothing wrong with that! :)
