Daddy

by Hannah   Jun 8, 2009

When I was little,
You watched me learn how to crawl,
Learn how to talk,
And then finally learn how to walk.

I am growing up now,
And you and mom have done a great job.
I know you don't want to let me grow up.
But i have to sooner or later.

I was your little girl,
I am you little girl,
And I will always be your little girl no matter what.
You are a wonderful daddy.

You have taught me things so well.
How to rotate tires, and may things I will use in life.
You have no idea how much I thank you for being such a great dad.
Although sometimes I do now show it, doesn't mean I don't mean it.

We fuss and argue.
But we make up in the end.
We aren't always going to agree,
And I know that.

But I want you to know I will always be your little girl.
But I am ready for you to let me fly.
I know you wont like every guy I want you to,
But one day I hope I will find one that you do.
