Friendship and Sun

by Hear You Me   Jun 8, 2009

Radiating heat scans across my skin
I look around, and see friends
Having fun
Under a heavy blanket from the sun
Grinning and laughter
Fills silences brought by
Ice cold drinks, and after
When the sun is asleep
When the moon gives no heat
We glance at each other
and still smile
Lips upturned, shoulders burnt
It will be a good summer

Glad I found this. One of my favorite things to lay in the sun and enjoy the warmth. Well done.
