Black-silver Shine (Shape Poetry)

..Hardened black-silver shine, engraved with his name.
Holstered, latched, ready for a ride. Withdrawn, aimed -
shivering; shaking, trigger pulled - jolted and shocked -
Dropped hitting the ground, lifeless like the hand-gun.
Not a sight....or....sound,
'till sirens....an.....sound.
Twitching I...cry....black,
hit, cuffed............taken.
Evaluated psychoanalyst,
-imprisoned
my thoughts.
Cold, alone,
pondering, I
sigh and cry
-imprisoned.
Termed a life
sentence, dead
I shall soon be.

Shape is one of the main things that separate prose and poetry. Poetry can take on many formats, but one of the most inventive forms is for the poem to take on the shape of its subject. Therefore, if the subject of your poem were of a flower, then the poem would be shaped like a flower. If it were of a fish, then the poem would take on the shape of a fish. ><<<*>

Nicely done Joe. Not only have you created a gun with the shape but with the imagery you give you can almost picture the gun in your mine. The flow was good though the poem lengths weren't the same and the structure was of course great. Very good job.
