The Agony Of His Death

by Poet on the Piano   Jun 9, 2009

If you want to see real love,
Take a glance at the cross,
Where an innocent man suffered,
More than any can comprehend.

If you want to know true pain,
Imagine nails through your body,
A crown of thorns shoved on,
Hunger and thirst overpowering.

If you want to be really amazed,
Consider these following things,
Jesus could have stopped His death,
But He chose to endure it for us.

If you want to see real love,
Take a glance at the cross,
Where an unselfish mighty king,
Stood tall through all of the agony.
