One Last Thought

by Jad   Jun 10, 2009

Its been too long.
Since I heard that song,
Which brought us together,
But not forever.

Seeing you in my doorway,
I'm speechless without anything to say,
But I love this illusion.
Though it's from confusion.

Why I love you still.
Leaves me cold in a chill,
And your soft touch,
That help me so much.

Now I'm all alone.
Forever I will roam,
Wishing to see you again.
As I start to rend.

I will fade away alone
And who could have known
That my love was so strong
But this ended up so wrong

I will now have one last thought,
Which in me has wrought.
A picture of something unacceptable,
But I believed it and I'm a fool.

I felt the emotion in this poem , and it is important that the words remain as you were inspired to write them
